Skeleton Series No.1: Steampunk

This is the lightsaber that can born from complete artistic freedom!

The Skeleton Series is a design idea i had since the Claw of Darkness Dooku saber.

A spine centered exposed crystal chamber lightsaber with fine details and complex shape.

To start this series i deep dived in the Victorian era machines and created the Skeleton Series No.1 Steampunk saber.

Hand bent bronze spine, with fine copper details, exposed brass crystal chamber with mechanical spinning crystal chamber.
The crystal made from automotive lightbulb and quartz crystal shards bond together creating this copper-caged mechanical visual!

The wood parts are made from Zebrano wood. Added brass details are to create the barrel shape.

All metal parts are hand shaped and brazed together. The saber has a 27mm deep bass speaker in a separate wood speaker pod. During the build the pod actually can swing up allowing the chassis to slide in the sabers body. It is now secured in place with copper pins.

30 pixel neo accent strip
Rotating crystal chamber
Usb C charging and data connection.
