Saber Smith Spotlight The Tushka

Perhaps at the pinnacle of custom saber building are saber smiths that create sabers from end-to-end - everything from designing the hilt, machining and weathering the parts, designing the internal chassis and installing the electronics. The skills needed to do every part of this complex work calls upon every technical tool in the saber smith arsenal from hardware to software. Without a doubt, only a handful of smiths in the world are capable of such feats.
This week, we take a look at one such saber smith - Gary Morris of @the_outer_rim_outpost . This Exhibit features a unique saber named The Tushka. This features a custom machined hilt from scratch with brass and aluminium, an OLED screen, 2.1mm recharge port, custom machined crystal chamber and greeblies and installed with CFX for light and sound.
